Dear Major Superiors,
In continuation of my first letter dated July 4, 2010, informing you of the dates, venue and theme of the 46th National Assembly of CRWI, the present communication is being sent to convey confirmation of the same and other important information connected with the Assembly:
Dates : This is to confirm that the Conference begins at 5 p.m. on January 8, 2011 with the Inaugural Programme and ends with Valediction and Dinner on January 11th night. Please assume responsibility to attend the entire programme and book your return tickets – bus / train / flight - for a time after 9 p.m. on January 11th. The participants of the Conference will be the Major Superiors only. No delegates may be permitted
Venue: The venue of the Conference is Pastoral Orientation Centre (P.O.C.),
Pallarivattom, Kochi 682025
How to get to the venue: will be made known to you in the communication to follow in the month of November

Registration: The Registration form for the Assembly is enclosed herewith. See both sides of the Registration form and fill in accordingly. The completed registration form with a Demand Draft for Rs. 1000/- favouring “Conference of Religious Women India”, payable at Ernakulam (you may pay in cash also. Cheques will not be entertained) and addressed to :

Rs. 2,000/- towards Conference fee will be paid at the time of arrival on January 8 2011 at the Registration counter of the Conference venue. The counters will function from 10 a.m. to 3.30 p.m.
Important note: The completed registration form along with the registration fee of Rs. 1,000/- should reach the POC Office by November 1st, 2010 the latest
Pilgrimage to Bharananganam and Local sight seeing: As communicated to you in the previous letter, there will be a 1 day pilgrimage on 12th January to Bharananganam (the place of St. Alphonsa) or Local sight seeing both of which are optional programmes. Please confirm your participation by filling the latter part of the Registration form and enclose Rs. 100/- as advance (i.e. send a Draft for Rs. 1100/- instead of Rs. 1000/-). The cost of the Pilgrimage is Rs. 500/- and Rs. 350/- for local sight seeing, including food.
The Annual Subscription to CRWI, IMD and CRI Delhi will be collected by the respective Treasurers at the Conference Venue and receipts for the same will be issued by them.
- Study and discussion on the Documents Mutual Relations (a CBCI-CRI Publication) and Gender Policy of the Catholic Church (a CBCI Publication), will be held during the National Assembly.
Regarding the final communication to the participants: After all the registration forms reach the Conference Office at POC Kochi, the CRWI ExCo and the Local Organizing Committee will be meeting to fix up and finalize accommodation for the participants, as well as other details of the Assembly and you will receive a last communication thereafter giving details about the Programme Schedule, the place you will be put up, etc. Kindly attend to the booking of your tickets to and fro immediately, as booking of train tickets needs to be done 90 days in advance.
Note: The Local Organizing Committee has been working enthusiastically to make the National Assembly an impressive and memorable one. Your active and positive response and sustained participation in the National assembly to the very end of the programme schedule will be a gesture of your appreciation and a reciprocation of your recognition of the same.
